This 75-minute breathwork session is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of functional breathing while gently guiding you through a progression of techniques to activate your body and mind. Whether you're brand new to breathwork or already a seasoned practitioner, this workshop offers accessible tools that support improved performance, energy, and emotional well-being. You'll learn how to breathe more efficiently, relax the nervous system, and prepare your physiology for movement, focus, or restoration.
We'll begin with community connection and grounding, followed by simple breathing practices that invite calm and awareness. As the session unfolds, you'll be guided into more activating styles of breathwork—such as circular diaphragmatic breathing, breath holds, and techniques to tone the vagus nerve. The session closes with a guided meditation set to natural soundscapes, often accompanied by the soothing tones of a Native American drone flute. We’ll end with integration, group reflection, and a sense of renewed connection to self and others.
You'll want to bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask, water, journal, and any personal trinkets that feel meaningful. Wear lightweight, loose, and comfortable clothing that may or may not get a little sweaty.
